Fly Fishing Package
South Water Caye is an angler’s paradise. Boasting an eastern shore a mere 120 feet from the Belize Barrier Reef, this picturesque island is one of the best destinations in Belize for flats fishing, landing your bonefish, permit, and tarpon. The calm turquoise water on our western shore features a large seagrass lagoon, teeming with coral shoals and pristine flats.
Huge schools of bonefish spread out over the lagoon. Tailing these large bonefish schools will provide hours of fly rod action at your own pace as you can simply wade out a few steps from your room onto the flats.
When the tide is just right, your expert guide will take you to cast on neighboring mangrove flats, home to permit up to ten pounds in size. Try your hand at snook and tarpon. Tarpon often reach 75 pounds in the inner channel of southern Belize.

Note: Upon arrival at the international airport after Immigration and Customs processing, your onward connection to Dangriga is available by local air (20 minutes) or private ground shuttle (2 hrs). Kindly arrange this transport when booking your stay at an additional cost.

- Marine Park Fee of $15.00 US per person for 3 to 7 nights
- Internal transfers to and from Dangriga (We can assist with reservations for local island hopper flight from Belize City or ground transfer by private shuttle)

- Payment Policy: 30% deposit required to guarantee reservation; Final balance due 45 days prior to arrival.
- Forms of Payment: VISA and MasterCard Accepted or International Wire Transfer
- Cancellation Policy: 61+ days ($100.00 per person fee + 5% applicable bank charges); 60-46 days (forfeit 50% of deposit); 45 days or less (Non-refundable). Blue Marlin Beach Resort highly recommends that you purchase travel insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances.

- Reschedule Policy: If you cannot travel due to international travel restrictions or requirements, your reservation is transferable to a future date stay within two years at a minimal rescheduling fee of $100.00 per person. Reservation can be changed up to 7 days before the scheduled date of arrival.
